Concha reduction
Breathing problems are very common. Having to breathe through the mouth causes inflammation in the respiratory tract, sore throat and coughing. In many cases the cause of snoring is in the concha.
Reducing the turbinate may be done as an out-patient procedure at the practice because it is performed using a minimally invasive radiofrequency technique. Postoperative bleeding is almost nonexistent; therefore nasal plugging is not required.
