Tonsillectomy with laser
Many children do not suffer from tonsillitis, but rather disorders and problems in the respiratory tract, especially at night when they are lying down. They therefore do not sleep well and are not well rested. In many cases a lymphatic reaction causes enlarged tonsils which are the cause of the problem.
In these cases the tonsils are not removed, they are reduced using a laser to a normal size; in this manner enough tissue remains and breathing is facilitated. This will let the child sleep properly at night.
