Hyaluronic Acid
Treatment using hyaluronic acid stimulates skin tissue and retains water. Through this process the skin gains more volume and elasticity.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural component found in human skin. After the age of 30, the amount of hyaluronic acid in cells diminishes and skin loses elasticity thereby becoming dry and saggy.
The hyaluronic acid used in this treatment is made using natural hyaluronic acid as a base. There are, therefore, no tolerance problems and prior skin tests are not necessary.
Hyaluronic acid is injected under the skin where the wrinkle is located, using local anaesthesia. The wrinkle is filled and the skin is smoothed and recovers its elasticity.
This process is recommended for very visible wrinkles, for example: nasolabial furrows, marionette lines, the contours of the lips and filling the angles of the mouth and cheeks.
It lasts from 6 to 8 months.
