Adenoidectomy

The adenoids are found in the nasopharynx behind the nose and cause various disorders such as breathing through the mouth, chronic congestion, otitis, restless sleep, as well as jaw positioning and malocclusion. They are removed using short general anaesthesia. The adenoids often cause serous blockage in the middle ear. This liquid is inhaled and sometimes a drainage tube is inserted. The operation is an out-patient procedure and is generally painless. Our little patients shall be completely recovered and as good as new from the first day of the operation.
